Josh Okogie led the charge for the Phoenix Suns with Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal all not playing tonight.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! While trying to show that he deserves the fifth starter spot, Okogie scored a team-high 17 points (7-of-13 from the floor and 3-of-6 from deep) to go along with six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks.
The Suns ultimately fell 115-107 to the Nuggets, but it should not take away from Okogie’s impressive performance.
“My biggest thing this year is just to play with an open mind offensively,” Okogie said. “If I’m open, keep it simple, shoot it. If I catch the ball, and I have a lane, drive it. If I don’t, pass it. It gives me three options, and it’s easy to play basketball that way.”
