Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders has become one of the fast risers of this draft class. Shadeur is now considered a first-round draft pick, and arguably a top-three QB in this class.

Coach Kenny Dillingham recruited Shedeur when he was at Auburn and knew that he would be special. He loved his confidence and enjoyment of the game but also saw the arm talent that Shadeur possessed. In his press conference, Dillingham answered a question about Shedeur and said that Sanders is “just an older version of what that 17-year-old kid was.”

“Seeing him put it together in college doesn’t shock me,” Dillingham said. “He’s cerebral, smart, and has great poise about himself, so I think that is one of his greatest skills. He’s always poised and very hard to get uncomfortable, similar to Caleb (Williams). He’s always comfortable. Even if you hit him, he gets up, and the next play is the next play. He can make every throw, extends plays, so he’s a really, really, really, really, really, really good football player.”

High praise from Dillingham on the Colorado QB he will be facing this weekend. Sanders is a top talent and will look to continue his incredible season this week.
