Arizona State is one of the worst teams in the country when it comes to creating explosive plays. They rank 113th out of 133 qualified teams in yards per play.

“Our longest run is 17 yards,” Dillingham said. “So, when you are trying to be a consistent run team, you have to do better than that. We need to be more explosive. I’ve got to be more creative. Explosive plays are one of the number one correlations to winning in the game, and we are just not having enough explosives, I got to be more creative offensively. I got to find ways to create those and get our guys in explosive situations.”
Arizona State will have a big chance to do just that against Deion Sanders’ Colorado team this weekend.
