Pyne injured himself in the Saturday USC loss which Dillingham described as an injury to his prior leg muscle injury that happened vs. Fresno State.

In the loss to USC, he completed 21 of 36 pass attempts for 221 yards and 2 touchdowns to go along with 2 turnovers. We don’t know how long Pyne will be out but we do know that Bouguet is set to be the starter for the majority of the year now.

Last year he completed 71% of his passes for 1,490 yards 11 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. In his lone game this year, he completed 6 of 8 passes for 47 yards and 1 interception before getting hurt in the Fresno State game.
