“First of many for my guy!” Murray said on X following the Cardinals’ 28-16 upset over the Cowboys.

No one thought the Cardinals could be in this place of upsetting what was thought to be one of the top teams in football in Gannon’s first year, but here they are.

Many believed the Cardinals could be tanking for Murray’s replacement in Caleb Williams this year, but today’s win was very convincing of what the team can do.

Murray is still recovering from his ACL tear suffered last season. Last week, Murray shared a post that he was “itching” to get back to playing.

Following this video, Gannon was questioned on Murray’s return date.

“We know the timetable of when he can return to play, but that doesn’t mean that’s when he’s going to return to play,” Gannon said.

Who knows when Murray will return, but it is clear he and Gannon are living in the present and enjoying today’s huge victory.
