On Sunday, the Cardinals pulled off the biggest upset of the weekend defeating the Dallas Cowboys, 28-16. The Cowboys were undefeated coming into this game and were favored by 12.5 points over Arizona. The Cardinals led this game from start to finish. The Cowboys ran into a very prepared defense.

Arizona was able to force Dak Prescott into throwing his first interception of the year. They held Dallas to 16 points after the Cowboys scored 70 points combined in the first two games. Foxworth addressed the surprising play of Arizona on his podcast, The Domonique Foxworth show.

“It’s hard for me to continue to bemoan the tanking of the Cardinals,” said Foxworth, “when they have been competitive in every game and they beat the team that I said was the best in football.”

The Cardinals lost in week one to the Washington Commanders, 20-16. They lost to the New York Giants in week two, 31-28. Then defeated the Cowboys, 28-16. Arizona has a point differential of +5 after three weeks. This does not look a team that is tanking.

This week Joshua Dobbs and company are taking on the undefeated San Francisco 49ers. Another team that lots of fans and pundits believe may be the best in the NFL. Can Arizona continue to prove the doubters wrong?
