Burn City Best Bets: Diamondbacks-Mets Game Three

© John Jones-USA TODAY Sports

Arizona Diamondbacks and New York Mets are set for a 4:10 first pitch today with Zac Gallen on the hill for the Diamondbacks. The series so far is a 1-1 split after the Mets took game two last night 7-4. New York will be throwing Joey Lucchesi in tonights game.

Game Lines

Arizona is the current favorite at -155 with Gallen on the mound and I think that’s a lock. Gallen is coming off of a start where he threw 9 ks and a complete game shutout. The Diamondbacks are relying heavily on Gallen. I also like the first inning under half a run with Gallen on the hill

Pitcher props

Zac Gallen to go over on 18.5 outs recorded is at +135, if the Diamondbacks need it, Gallen has shown he will go the distance. With the competitiveness of the series over the previous two games, I think they will need him. I also like Zac Gallen to go over 5.5 strikeouts. The Mets are known to strikeout quite a bit, and Gallen is a top pitcher in the league. Joey Lucchesi has a line set at 3.5 strikeouts which he has gone over in only two of his last five outings. I like the under here at +115.

Batter props

Tommy Pham has been hitting the ball well against his previous team, and its a lock for him to go over 0.5 hits. Lourdes Gurriel Jr is another Diamondback who has swung the bat well recently. I like his over on 1.5 total bases. Christian Walker is also plus money to go over 1.5 total bases. I think the veteran first baseman will come alive tonight.

All of the lines I use can be found on DraftKings, let’s go win some money.
