Seby Zavala also continues his hitting streak with the Diamondbacks, he singled twice and struck out once. Corbin Carroll had more of a quiet night tonight, going 0-5 from the plate. Ketel Marte also got in on the fun, grabbing two base hits himself. Marte also had the eventual game winning base hit in the top of the ninth, a double that scored Alek Thomas.

The Diamondbacks will remain in New York as game two is set for a 4:10 first pitch PST tomorrow evening. Arizona will start Ryne Nelson who has a 7-7 record on the year, with a 5.30 ERA in 130.2 innings pitched. New York will be going with the right hander Jose Butto to throw tomorrow.
