Arizona State University Junior Preston Summerhays is hot off a Walker Cup championship for team U.S. and is not slowing down anytime soon. His win over the weekend at the Players Championship earned him another PGA shot this week at the Fortinet Championship.

Summerhayes finished first overall out of 72 players shooting 5-under 211, earning his win by beating Max Herendeen of Illinois in a playoff  bout. Summerhays finished the weekend with two rounds of 72 and one impressive round of 67 on day two.
The win in Sammamish, Washington earned Summerhays a PGA Tour sponsor’s exemption spot at the Fortinet Championship this week in Napa Valley, California.
The Fortinet Championship will take place from Sept. 14 – Sept. 17 at Silverado Resort.
