On Saturday, September ninth the Arizona Diamondbacks will play game three of four in Chicago, and we have some best bets. Arizona has been pretty controlling in the first two games so far. Arizona won game one 6-2 and game two 1-0. Although todays game was close, Zac Gallen had the Diamondbacks in the driver seat all day with non stop nasty stuff.

Kelly is the Diamondbacks clear cut #2 guy in their rotation, and could easily be a #1 on any other team. Almost every time Merrill Kelly steps on the mound he has total control of the entire game. Kelly holds a 3.22 ERA, which is first on the Diamondbacks, and an 11-6 record.
With the momentum the Diamondbacks have built so far in this series, I like the money line. At +120, I really like it. If the Diamondbacks have anything , its heart. A couple of times since the all-star break Arizona has looked down and out of the playoffs. They always seem to find a way to piece together wins, and be right there, though. This series is as big as ever for the Diamondbacks, and they’re stepping up to the competition.
Putting it all on Merrill Kelly
Kelly’s line for strikeouts is set at 4.5, I love the over. In three of Kellys last five starts he has thrown 10+ strikeouts. Todays game featured Gallen going nine complete allowing just three hits. I’m confident in saying we will see high quality stuff from Kelly tomorrow, also. Kelly’s line for hits is set at 4.5 and to go under that mark is +110. In Kellys last outing skipper Torey Lovullo said he had “no hit stuff.” Now, that was in Phoenix, a much warmer environment than Chicago. Merrill Kelly has had some cramping issues recently. Everyone around the Diamondbacks say it’s due to humidity. The temperature in Chicago tomorrow is set for 74 degrees. Kelly under on hits, over on strikeouts, and over on outs recorded. Lock it in.
