The 2019 first-round pick finally finds a home after a long offseason. Minnesota placed OL James Lynch, who tore his ACL during Thursday’s practice, on injured reserve to open a spot for Harry.

Harry committed to ASU as a five-star recruit out of Chandler High School in 2015. From 2016-18, Harry started all 37 games he played with the Sun Devils, racking up 213 receptions for 2,889 yards and 22 touchdowns. He was a first-team All-Pac-12 selection twice at ASU.

The Patriots selected Harry with the 32nd overall pick after his time with ASU, giving him an opportunity right away to start his NFL career Tom Brady. Harry was placed on IR before the 2019 season started and didn’t make his debut until November.

Across three seasons, Harry played in 33 games (18 starts) with New England, starting 18, where he had 57 receptions on 103 targets for 598 yards and four touchdowns.

After a rocky time in New England, Harry requested a trade in 2021, which was never granted. New England declined to pick up his fifth-year option in 2022, so he signed with the Chicago Bears before last season.

He had ankle surgery last August, but got healthy and recorded seven catches on nine targets for 116 yards and a touchdown for Chicago.

Now, Harry has a chance to get back on track with the Vikings and will try to make the 52-man roster.

With the addition of Harry, the Vikings now have four wide receivers that were first-round picks, as he joins Justin Jefferson, Jalen Reagor and Jordan Addison in Minnesota. Tight end T.J. Hockenson was also selected in the first round.
