Britney Griner in her first game back at Footprint made noise in the first quarter scoring 6 of her team’s first 8 buckets. She finished the game with 10 points and 3 rebounds.

Unfortunately for the Mercury, the Sparks got more efficient shooting throughout the night. They shot 56% from the floor with a lot of their made shots coming on transition.

The Mercury shot only 20% from three and gave up 44 points off the bench. Everybody that played for the Sparks scored more than 4 points but less than 10. It was an efficient night all around for them.

Turnovers were also the name of the game for the Mercury as they finished with 17 turnovers and could never get a big run going at any point during the game.
