A key thing that Haynes did say in that video was how even though it’s not the same injury from a couple of years ago, it’s on the same knee that has given him problems since then.
Back in 2021, Leonard injured his right knee in a win against the Utah Jazz in game 4 and he ended up missing the rest of the playoff run because of it.
Here’s where Kawhi Leonard suffered the apparent injury, on an intentional foul by Jazz forward Joe Ingles.

There have been a lot of talks saying that if Leonard were healthy, the Suns might’ve not made it to the finals that year. Here we are yet again in what could have been if the Clippers were fully healthy.
The series is far from over. As we saw in Game 3 that the Clippers are going to make it very tough for the Suns throughout this series no matter who is out there. We shall see what happens in Game 4.
