At one point in the third quarter, the Suns held a 27-point lead, and the game seemed to be pretty much over. However, a 22-3 run by the Nuggets suddenly forced Phoenix to bring the starters back onto the court for the final 15 minutes.

Denver cut the lead down to four with less than 10 minutes remaining, but this was as far as they would come as the Nuggets desperately needed either Nikola Jokic or Jamal Murray to be healthy.

Kevin Durant bounced back after a rough home debut game on Wednesday. The 13-time All Star finished with 30 points on just 15 shots.

Right behind him was Devin Booker, with 27 points. A perfect way to end his red-hot month of March.

The Suns now hold a 1.5 game lead over the Clippers for the fourth seed in the Western Conference. Their next game will be this Sunday at 4PM against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
