Devin Booker will not be suiting up tomorrow after making his triumphant return yesterday in a win against the Brooklyn Nets as he will be resting against the Atlanta Hawks due to left groin injury management according to the Suns.

Booker had an up-and-down game against the Brooklyn Nets last night which was to be expected after missing a month due to a left groin injury. He finished with 19 points on 40% shooting after starting hot from the floor by making the game’s first 8 points.

Booker didn’t seem to faze by his overall performance but he was a little upset over one area that he felt like shouldn’t have been an issue last night.

“I’ve been injured and all I did was shoot free throws,” Booker said after missing late free throws to put the game away. “That’s why I’m so disappointed in myself I couldn’t do any movement. All I do is go there and shoot free throws and you know that was terrible.”

Cameron Payne and Landry Shamet are also still nursing foot injuries and will be out for tomorrow’s game as well but both are progressing in the right direction to hopefully get back on the floor in the upcoming weeks.

Suns Interested in Three Players As Trade Deadline Nears

Booker will most likely be back for the next game on Friday against the Pacers on Friday night at 5 P.M. Until then, the Suns will hopefully try to make it four wins in a row tomorrow night against the Hawks.
