Suns vs Jazz – Game Recap

Rob Gray- USA TODAY Sports

It was another nail biting loss for the Phoenix Suns as they lose to the Utah Jazz by a final score of 134-133 to drop them to 9-6 on the season. For the second game in a row, the Suns got to the free throw line at a quality rate as they shot 28 free throws after only shooting a whopping 4 two games ago in Miami. Devin Booker Went Off:

Devin Booker had a season high performance tonight dropping 49 points in a near triple double game that almost pushed the Suns over the hump tonight. He shot 16-31 from the field and was hitting tough shot after tough shot. Unfortunately the next point of emphasis was the reason the Suns struggled in tonight’s game.

Three Point Shooting Was A Problem

After a game where they shot over 50% from the three point line. The Suns as a whole only shot 30% as they struggled as a whole in this game. Going into the contest the Jazz were ranked 3rd in 3 point attempts allowed to an opposing team. And the Suns couldn’t quite get any quality looks from the arc to go down as that played a huge role in why they lost tonight’s game.

The Suns will be looking to get back in the win column as they travel back home to Footprint Center where they will take on the New York Knicks.
