James Conner is Active for Week Nine

For the first time since Week Five, RB James Conner is active. The Cardinals are hopeful that their starting running back will be set to go this afternoon against the Seahawks.

In the five games Conner has played in, the two-time pro bowler has rushed for 200 yards, averaging 3.7 yards per rush.

Now, he will have the opportunity to add those stats against a struggling Seahawks’ defense. Seattle is currently 5th worst in the NFL for rushing yards allowed, giving up an average of 140 per game.

However, James Conner is still not 100% healthy, making it uncertain what percentage of reps he will have. Most likely, he will split time with RB Eno Benjamin, who has taken over in his absence.

The Arizona Cardinals will reevaluate Conner’s ribs one last time before this afternoon’s matchup. Kickoff is set for 2:05 Arizona time.
