BetMGM is taking major steps to grab the advantage of this exponential market by opening up an on-site sportsbook right next to State Farm Stadium in Glendale Arizona.

On Thursday morning, Doug Ducey joined BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt to cut the ribbon for the grand opening.

Included inside this 17000 sq foot sportsbook is a 265-square-foot video wall along with 38 televisions. These features will not only allow visitors to watch any game that is on but also give them the opportunity to place their bets in person. The building truly is one of a kind as it is the first ever sportsbook built near an NFL stadium.

“The BetMGM Sportsbook at State Farm Stadium is one of the most revolutionary additions an NFL stadium has seen in decades and unlike anything fans have encountered on gamedays” – BetMGM CEO

If there are no sports on, then the building will also be used for other outdoor activities. These may include events such as live music or comedy concerts. Although the main use for this sportsbook will be during football season, BetMGM will keep the building open year-round continuing to entertain visitors.

In total, the building can fit a compacity of 500 people and will be open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 11 p.m. The sportsbook will also have extended hours of 7 a.m. – 11 p.m. on the weekends.

The official grand opening will be at 9 am this Sunday prior to the Cardinal’s opening matchup against the Chiefs. The first event will be a DJ Pauly D concert which will be held at 11.45 AM.
