Heading into the 5th inning, the game was tied at one. However, the Aces broke the deadlock in a booming fashion, connecting for two grand slams in a single inning. Ronaldo Hernandez hit the first, followed by Bryson Brigman with the second. Both Hernandez and Brigman have been key contributors to the Aces’ lethal offense this season, each batting over .300.

In the 6th inning, the Aces continued their offensive onslaught, adding five more runs—all with two outs. After a double and a single, five consecutive walks were issued, leading to a cascade of runs.

The 7th inning saw a similar story unfold, as the Aces plated six more runs. The inning featured eight hits and a couple of drawn walks, further extending their lead.

Five different players finished the game with at least three hits: Jorge Barrosa, Ronaldo Hernandez, Blaze Alexander, Tim Tawa, and Bryson Brigman.

The Aces, now 8-2 in their last 10 games, have taken sole possession of 1st place in the Pacific Coast League’s 2nd half standings. If they can maintain this position through the end of the season, they will face the Sugarland Space Cowboys, Houston’s Triple-A affiliate, in the PCL championship.
