After Sunday’s 27-23 home loss to the Green Bay Packers, the Cardinals became the first team in NFL history to lose three straight games after leading by at least seven points entering the fourth quarter.

Arizona held a 20-13 advantage to begin the fourth before surrendering two late touchdowns, continuing a string of painful fourth-quarter collapses.

The loss underscored growing frustration among fans as the Cardinals fell to 2-5 with their fifth straight defeat this season.

Heartbreak has become familiar for Cardinals fans and increasingly hard to stomach as the season progresses. Each game has followed a similar pattern: an energetic start, growing confidence in the third quarter, and then watching the team’s lead slip away in the fourth.

Many fans are wondering what more needs to change for the team to start stacking wins again, after watching stalled drives in crucial moments.

With the bye week approaching, the Cardinals have a chance to rest and reevaluate where the team is heading. Frustration is mounting and their schedule is only going to get tougher from here.

Arizona needs to find a solution or risk having its 2025 season defined by fourth-quarter struggles.
