It’s been a turbulent stretch for the D-Backs, as they haven’t won a series since they swept the San Francisco Giants in late May. Since then, they’ve been swept by the Seattle Mariners, split a series with the Los Angeles Dodgers, lost a series to the Washington Nationals, and now dropped their latest series to the Miami Marlins.
While some point to pitching inconsistencies — both in the starting rotation and the bullpen — another factor has been the offense.
