PHOENIX — This year’s NBA Finals have been a rollercoaster of emotions, and Game 4 between the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks had fans buzzing online — including Phoenix Suns fans.

The Knicks hosted the Spurs for Game 4 on Wednesday with a slight edge in the seven-game series, leading 2-1 after a loss to San Antonio on Monday. The Spurs looked to tie up the series in front of a hostile New York crowd at Madison Square Garden, and in the first half, it seemed like they could do just that — leading by as much as 29 points before halftime.
However, momentum shifted to the Knicks’ side after the break.

Defensive pressure and scoring flurries by New York shocked San Antonio, erasing the deficit completely. The final seconds of the game were mayhem, and after a missed 3-pointer by Jalen Brunson, OG Anunoby’s putback gave the Knicks the lead and sealed the win — marking the largest comeback in NBA Finals history.
While the Suns aren’t in the Finals conversation, fans couldn’t help but troll their Western Conference rival after the second-half collapse.
As a lifelong Phoenix Suns fan, watching the Spurs get their hearts ripped out of their chests is my championship.

The historic win now puts New York just one victory away from capturing its third title and first since 1973. While fans in the Valley won’t see their own team raise the trophy at the end of this series, they’re still invested in the emotions that come with high-stakes competition.
