PHOENIX — The Phoenix Suns returned home and had a nail-biter against the New York Knicks, taking a 112-107 win on Friday night.

While the first half started hot for the Suns, the second was the opposite. Phoenix and New York battled throughout the third quarter, with both teams making crucial shots as the other responded just as quickly. However, as the quarter wound down, Phoenix went on a 14-0 run to re-extend its lead, 94-86.
The shining moment of the half was Devin Booker’s dunk over New York’s OG Anunoby.

The Knicks once again battled back, with Jalen Brunson and Mitchell Robinson knocking down shots to once again erase a 12-point deficit. It came down to the wire, with Phoenix up by five after Grayson Allen’s two free throw attempts in the last 13 seconds.
However, New York’s Mikal Bridges made it interesting with a 3-point shot to bring the Knicks within two.
Two more free throws from Allen sealed the win after New York guard Miles McBride’s personal foul with five seconds left.
While much of the scoring leaned heavily on Booker and Dillon Brooks — a combined 58 points — Royce O’Neal’s 3-point shots in the half played a crucial role in turning the tide during the game.

The Suns have one more game at home before heading on the road again, facing the Washington Wizards on Sunday, Jan. 11, at 6 p.m.
