Kenny Dillingham is the perfect head coach for the school, and he continues to show it through each presser.

He displays his commitment to the Sun Devils with his emotions and willingness to make an elite institution. The 35-year-old understands where ASU can go, especially if it has the right support. Fans knew Dillingham was the right decision to bring back home to Tempe (Ariz.) when he guided the 2024 unit to a Big 12 Championship and a College Football Playoff berth. His guys are preparing to face Duke in the Sun Bowl, but a former player wants high administrators within the program to recognize the school has someone special. Jordan Simone, an ex-safety at Arizona State, feels the program has real momentum for the first time in a while. Simone, who played from 2013 to 2015, says the administration needs to back up Dillingham with resources.

He had been linked as a potential option for the Michigan job, yet Dillingham is not looking at leaving home.

Arizona State can become a major factor in the CFP for years to come, but it needs to back up Dillingham.
