Skattebo helped lead the Giants to a 31-24 upset of the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night, with 142 yards and three touchdowns. The former Sun Devil has been adjusting well to the league, carrying the ball 82 times for 338 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 4.1 yards per carry.

Thursday’s performance wasn’t forgotten, as ESPN senior NFL insider Adam Schefter appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” to discuss the former Sun Devil’s game.

“Cam Skattebo runs like he’s a character out of the Flintstones,” Schefter said. “And, to me, you can start calling the ‘Bam Bam Cam Skattebo’ right now.”

Schefter then referred to Skattebo as the “human tush push” for his ability to break tackles and run through defenders, referring to the Eagles’ signature play. He also acknowledged the bond the rookie running back is building with fellow rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, which began to take shape when Dart was named the Giants’ starting quarterback in September.

As Skattebo continues to be a key in the Giants’ offense with standout performances, the former Sun Devil is quickly emerging as one of the NFL’s most talked-about rookies.
