GLENDALE – The injury bug continues to infect the Arizona Cardinals, with the team losing one of its top receivers ahead of Thursday Night Football vs. the Seattle Seahawks. Wide receiver Zay Jones was put in concussion protocol after Week 3 at the San Francisco 49ers. Jones is believed to hurt himself on the last offensive play vs. the 49ers, when he just dropped the ball that would’ve secured the win.

Cardinals latest injury report:
Another player likely to miss his second straight week is rookie cornerback Will Johnson. The second-round pick injured himself twice in Week 2, once knocking the wind out of himself, and then tweaking his groin on the final Carolina Panther touchdown drive.

The offensive line remains beat up, with four lineman on the injury report. Kelvin Beachum started for the injured Paris Johnson Jr. last week, but now is banged up with a knee issue. Eyes shift towards Will Hernandez making his highly-anticipated return, that general manager Monti Ossenfort is hyping up to be very soon.
For Seattle, guard Josh Jones will be out, with safety Nic Emmanwori likely joining him. The Seahawks have three players questionable: guard Anthony Bradford, linebacker Boye Mafe and runing back Zach Charbonnet.

Charbonnet is the most noticeable name on the list, as he recorded 134 rushing yards against the Cardinals the last time the two teams faced off. Arizona and Seattle have the burden of playing on a short week, with both battling injuries to key players for Thursday’s game.
