In the first week of the 2025 NFL season against the New Orleans Saints, the Cardinals’ offense clicked at times and was showing signs of life, though their big plays could have gone one way or another. If Arizona could keep proving how their defense was physical and their offense could make use of every opportunity, the Cardinals would be set up for success.

Coming away with a win in week two was nice, though it was too close for comfort for this Cardinals team. The offense struggled late in the game and almost allowed the Panthers to come back and win. The flaws that the Cardinals’ offense has shown have been detrimental to keeping the foot on the gas pedal and closing out these games with a statement.

The horrid play calling, mediocre wide receiver play, and the same old figured out offensive line isn’t doing Cardinals QB Kyler Murray any favors, and it didn’t in San Francisco against the 49ers. The blame may be falling on Cardinals OC Drew Petzing, and rightfully so, although there are many other factors that are causing this Cardinals offense not to gel.

The Cardinals have a massive test against the Seahawks on Thursday night, and their offense definitely has something to prove. If Drew Petzing can draw it up and the offense can defeat the surging Seahawks, the Cardinals might be able to breathe a breath of fresh air.
