Conner immediately grabbed his leg and had to be carted off the field. When Fox later showed the replay, the 30-year-old Pro Bowler had his leg bent in a very awkward position.

Cardinals Conner injured vs. 49ers in Week 3:

Conner is one of the toughest players in the league, and him having to be carted off showed the severity of the injury. He is seen as the engine of the offense, getting plenty of touches on the run game and air attack in Sunday’s game vs. the 49ers.

Arizona already had injuries to its top three cornerbacks in last week’s game vs. the Carolina Panthers. Two defensive players were added to the IR, and now, in all likelihood, Conner will be added to that list with a significant leg injury.
