ESPN+ transmitted the game, but a glitch made the broadcast go dark, despite only the audio working. When the video did appear, it was choppy and short-lived.

Fans quickly went online, tagging ESPN and asking the network to find a solution. Among those who called out the station was former Sun Devil and now New York Giant Cam Skattebo, who took to X (formerly Twitter) to ask for better.

Arizona State Athletic Director Graham Rossini addressed the issue, apologizing and promising to work with the Big 12 and ESPN to prevent another glitch.

The situation left Arizona State fans feeling overlooked, as an exciting season opener for the nation’s No. 11 team wasn’t enjoyed to the fullest by those at home.
