ASU sells out home opener for the first time since 1998

TEMPE — Arizona State’s home opener against Northern Arizona is officially sold out for the first time since 1998, with excitement from ASU’s fans building ahead of the matchup.

The Sun Devils will host the Lumberjacks on Saturday night, where a full crowd is expected for Kenny Dillingham’s third year as ASU head coach. The news marks a milestone for ASU, as the team looks to take last year’s success into this season.

The matchup with NAU will be part of a three-game non-conference schedule before the Sun Devils begin Big 12 competition later in September.
