ASU prepares to defend its Big 12 championship, entering the season ranked No. 11 in the AP’s preseason poll. Last season’s underdog story captured national attention and after falling short in the Peach Bowl, they’re looking for a bounce-back.

“It is easy to be a flash in the pan,” head coach Kenny Dillingham said in the video during the team’s first meeting this year. “It’s really easy to create a spark. It’s really hard to make a fire. Right now, we’ve created a spark, we’ve got the flame. Very few people can actually grow that thing into a fire.”
