PHOENIX — The Phoenix Mercury have waived guard Kiana Williams on Thursday morning, according to a press release from the team.

Williams was signed to the team on June 26 to replace Megan McConnell after she was injured. She played in four games for Phoenix, averaging 5.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists.
The Mercury now have 11 active players on their roster.

The Phoenix Mercury will face the Golden State Valkyries on Monday, July 14.
