GLENDALE – As the Arizona Cardinals are set for a stellar year heading into 2025, a former Cardinals cornerback can’t seem to forget his time with the team. Marco Wilson took to Instagram comments on a video that showcased his lowlights when he was in Arizona. Wilson sent a litany of messages that threw the blame on the coaches for not helping him with the pre-snap process.

Wilson on Cardinals coaches:
Wilson was drafted in the fourth round of the 2021 draft by Arizona and played 44 games with the franchise. In 2022, the former Florida Gators’ cornerback had a career year with three interceptions and 10 pass deflections, looking to have a long career in the Valley. However, an atrocious 2023 saw the young cornerback cut near the end of the season.

The 26-year-old signed with the New England Patriots, before getting cut again last season. Wilson found another team in the Cincinnati Bengals as a reserve defensive back. He looks to compete for a starting role next season, but still can’t let go of his time with the Cardinals. He later deleted the comments, but the sentiment still holds weight.
