Peterson on his relationship with the Cardinals and Murray:
Peterson was a seasoned pro when Murray arrived in Arizona and went hard on the rookie to be a leader of the franchise. The tough love approach left a sour taste in the mouth of Peterson and left a note for Murray when he was leaving the team of how he needs to step up in his absence.

Since then, the 34-year-old has seen Murray take the necessary steps for the franchise to elevate the team to the next level. Peterson wants to reestablish that relationship with a more mature, experienced Murray to be a guiding force for him heading into the 2025 season.
Next season is massive for Murray, as Arizona enters with playoff expectations for the first time in years. The All-Pro cornerback wants to aid in that postseason hunt by bringing in his intensity and tough love to Murray and an organization that could massively benefit them.
