Fautanu played with the Sun Devils for two season, playing 3,329 snaps in his career, the third-most among active FBS centers — pass-blocking grade is the best in the nation at 89.3. He has a certain toughness, quick feet, and leadership to him that helped ASU protect their prominent run game behind Cam Skattebo through the 2024-25 season.

His immediate impact at Tempe earned him the offensive MVP award for the Sun Devils and Pac-12, now Big 12, All-Conference honorable mention in 2023 after playing 100% of the 851 snaps at center.

Despite not hearing his name called during the seven rounds in Green Bay, Fautanu now joins the Lions franchise known for its physical and strong offensive line, as well as the team’s determination to win. He will look to make a name for himself during training camp and preseason action.

Fautanu joins Skattebo and Xavier Guillory as the Sun Devils to earn an NFL opportunity this weekend, and take their game to the next level.
