PHOENIX — The USL has announced the bracket for the USL Jägermeister Cup, with Phoenix Rising set to face San Antonio FC in round one this Saturday.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The USL Jägermeister Cup, or the USL Cup, is a tournament in which 38 USL and USL League One clubs are divided into six regional groups. Each club plays four matches, two away and two home, with the top teams from each regional group advancing to a knockout round. The two clubs with most goals will also advance to a knockout round, regardless of their records in the tournament.

Both clubs are in group two of the tournement alongside Texoma FC, El Paso Locomotive FC, New Mexico United and Union Omaha.
Phoenix and San Antonio already met once this season, with Phoenix taking a 2-1 win and snapping San Anonio’s undefeated streak back on April 6. This marked Phoenix’s first win of the season and Jearl Margaitha’s winning goal his first of the season.

Phoenix will host San Antonio in their first round matchup on Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m.
