TUCSON — Brayden Burries, ESPN 100’s No. 11 prospect for 2025, commits to the University of Arizona as he announced this morning.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Burries made his announcement on Sports Center, thanking those around him and saying that without them, “none of this would’ve been possible.” In an interview with ESPN, Burries said Arizona was the choice that best fit him and his family.
“Everyone is held accountable,” Burries explained. “[Arizona’s] style of play is smart and aggressive.”

Four other schools were on Burries’ radar — USC, Tennessee, Oregon, and Alabama — until he ultimately chose Arizona.
“I love the fan base,” Burries said to ESPN, speaking on his visits to the school. “I’ve been to a few of their games. There’s great energy in the McKale Center. It’s a basketball school.”
The five-star guard from Eleanor Roosevelt High School was a McDonald’s All-American and led his high school to a California state championship this year. Burries scored 44 points in the win.

Arizona now has two top-15 prospects and two top-50 recruits for next season, including Bryce James, LeBron James’ son.
