The football club has honored the late Andrew Baker, who was a season ticket holder for over a decade, even before the team became Phoenix Rising. In his memory, they have added his name to seat number 7 in the supporters’ section.
“Andrew’s passion and dedication for Arizona soccer transcended love,” the team said on the message. “He was its most dedicated and passionate supporter. No obstacle ever kept him from attending a home match. From Phoenix FC Wolves to Arizona United to Phoenix Rising FC, he was afways there loudly singing and cheering for 90 minutes and beyond.”
