Listed as questionable beforehand, Bradley Beal (left calf strain) and Jusuf Nurkić (right quadriceps contusion) have both been ruled out for the Pacific Division matchup against the Golden State Warriors tonight.

After missing five games, Beal returned against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday with 23 points. He would then contribute with 17 points before exiting the game early on Wednesday vs. the Brooklyn Nets following him tweaking his leg.

Budenholzer did say Beal was probable for the game after Friday’s practice but his status has changed and Phoenix will face Golden State minus one of their superstars. During his five-game absence, the Suns were a winless 0-5. This season, Beal is averaging 18.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 11 games.

Dealing with a finger injury during preseason, Nurkić has missed two games and will be out again. The 7-foot center is averaging 8.9 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game in his second season in the Valley.

As for the Warriors, Jonathan Kuminga (illness), Gary Payton II (right adductor tightness), Stephen Curry (bilateral knee patellofemoral pain) and Andrew Wiggins (right ankle impingement) are all available for selection. Former Sun De’Anthony Melton (left ACL sprain) is out.

The Suns and Warriors go head-to-head tonight at 7 p.m. MST inside Footprint Center.
