Witnessing his team making mistakes on both ends of the floor, Phoenix Suns head coach Mike Budenholzer reflected on his players not being at their best, crediting the Brooklyn Nets for their shotmaking and efficiency, watching Tyrese Martin shoot 8-for-10 from 3 and scoring 30 points and more.
Devin Booker led the Suns (10-8) with 31 points and Kevin Durant had 30 for the Suns (10-8) who lost the sixth game out of the last seven. Bradley Beal contributed with 17 points from 8-of-14 (57.1%) shooting before sustaining an apparent injury and not returning.
The Nets (8-10) shot 18-for-42 (42.9%) from 3 and 44-for-87 (50.6%) overall. Martin netted 30, Dennis Schröder chipped in with 29 and four other players were in double digits for Brooklyn.
