Cardinals release inactives ahead of MNF matchup against Chargers

The Arizona Cardinals received very positive injury news for their Monday Night Football matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers with none of their five questionable starters appearing on their final inactives list.

Running back Trey Benson (illness), defensive lineman Roy Lopez (ankle), linebacker Kyzir White (knee), cornerback Sean Murphy Bunting (neck) and cornerback Garrett Williams (groin) are all off the injury report and active. Defensive lineman Darius Robinson (calf – IR) and linebacker Owen Pappoe (hip) were already ruled out.

Earlier today, the Cardinals (2-4) elevated defensive lineman Ben Stille and linebacker Markus Bailey from the practice squad to the active roster.

This is the full list of Arizona’s inactive players:

  • LB Owen Pappoe (hip)
  • LB Victor Dimukeje
  • LB Xavier Thomas
  • TE Travis Vokolek
  • WR Xavier Weaver

The Chargers (3-2), meanwhile, had some big names on their inactives list:

  • WR Quentin Johnston
  • QB Easton Stick (emergency 3rd QB)
  • WR Derius Davis
  • OL Brenden Jaimes
  • OL Jordan McFadden
  • TE Hayden Hurst
  • OLB Joey Bosa
