- Utes quarterback Cam Rising (hand) is warming up with a glove on his throwing hand. He has missed the past three games and Isaac Wilson started in his place, guiding Utah to being ranked No. 16 in the nation.
- Sam Leavitt using his speed on quick snaps and finding his targets early. Leavitt passed 14-of-24 for 157 yards and four touchdowns. He was the Big 12 Conference Newcomer of the Week vs. Kansas.
- The student section is packed an hour before the game. ASU hockey played earlier in the day and the night ends with football for a double-header.
- Cam Skattebo made a few impressive catches and ran routes with ease. The Co-Offensive Player of the Week recorded 25 carries for 182 yards and a touchdown against the Jayhawks, the second game with 25-plus carries this season.
