The conversation spanned a variety of topics, from the art of trash-talking to Booker’s historic 70-point game and the legendary skills of Kevin Durant.

Discussing his 70-point achievement at the young age of 20, Booker humorously added, “but we lost,” after Redick broached the subject.

Booker then went on to speak about the backlash he still receives to this day for posing with a piece of paper with “70” written on it. As D-book pointed out, he was young, and just having fun.

He then added, “Nobody cares about you when you score 30 and lose. Nobody hated me then. The hate comes when you start winning games…when you become a threat.”

The dialogue then shifted to Kevin Durant, whom Redick hailed as “one of the greatest basketball players of all time.” Booker concurred, emphasizing, “The real ones know anything else is clickbait.”

Currently, Durant is on track to complete his 17th consecutive season with an average of at least 25 points per game, a feat only matched by LeBron James, who has achieved 20 straight seasons with such averages.
