Colin Blackwell scored a hat trick, and Connor Bedard netted two goals as the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Arizona Coyotes 7-4 Sunday evening.

Clayton Keller, Nick Schmaltz and Dylan Guenther scored in the Coyotes’ (26-33-5) defeat. Connor Ingram recorded 35 saves as the ‘Yotes fell to one of their Central Division rivals.
Off of a give-and-go with former Blackhawk Schmaltz, Keller curled around the right faceoff circle and fired the puck through a screen to beat Söderblom for a 1-0 Arizona lead 6:09 into the first period.
Keller got on the board again in the second to make it 2-0 Coyotes, but the Blackhawks responded and didn’t look back.
Blackwell and Bedard both scored in a 1:29 span to tie the game 2-2.
Bedard then toe-dragged into the slot and slung a quick wrist shot past Ingram and all of a sudden, the Blackhawks stormed back and took the lead 3-2 at the 10:05 mark of the second.

Knotting up the game once more 3-3, Guenther pounced on the puck which ricocheted off of the glass and in front of the Blackhawks’ net to bury his ninth goal of the season.

On a power play, Bedard no-look passed the puck to Johnson from a tight angle for a one-timer and scored, helping Chicago grab a 4-3 advantage.
Blackwell scored another as he picked up a loose puck in front of Ingram for a two-goal margin, 5-3 in the third.
Schmaltz fired a laser past Söderblom before Donato scored just 1:09 later, giving Chicago a 6-4 edge.
To wrap up the Blackhawks’ win and finish off the hat trick, Blackwell scored into the empty Coyotes net.
