Millenium’s win streak

Millennium (24-4) is currently on a nine-game win streak and has been a nightmare for opposing teams.

They rounded out the regular season strong and have put together three straight victories to begin the Open State bracket. The team is coming off a 56-50 win against No. 3 ranked Sunnyslope in the quarterfinals.

When it comes to quality wins against the state’s top teams, no team has had more.

The Tigers have defeated Sunnyslope three times, Desert Mountain once, and Notre Dame Prep once. They matched up against the Saints early in the month and dominated them by 20 points.

Saints seek title run

Despite the tough loss to Millennium this month, the Saints (25-4) have won 14 of their last 15 games. After falling short to Basha in last year’s quarterfinals, they now have an oppurtinity to reach the State Championship game.

The matchup winner will face the winner of Basha/Perry who will play directly after Millennium and Notre Dame Prep do.
