The final pick (36th overall) of the 2020 WNBA draft by the Washington Mystics was Sutton. She averaged 2.8 points, and one assist in 12 games during her rookie season.
Then after leaving Washington, she went elsewhere during the 2021-22 seasons to play basketball in countries like Poland and Australia.
Last season though, Sutton eventually signed a training camp deal with Phoenix before cracking the 2023 opening night roster.
In her first season back in the WNBA, Sutton completed a full 40-game schedule for the Mercury, averaging 8.2 points, 4.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds. Originally coming off the bench, she would cement herself into the starting lineup as the year progressed.
This is just the beginning.

Sutton would record the first triple-double in Mercury franchise history, scoring 18 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and 11 assists in a 94-73 loss to the Las Vegas Aces on Sept. 8.
Now completing the same deal as last season, she will once again compete for her place to make the Mercury.
In almost two months, the Phoenix Mercury begins their 2024 WNBA season against the Aces on May 14.
