Originally, Diamond Sports Group, the parent company of Bally Sports Arizona, handled the broadcasting of Diamondbacks games. However, their declaration of bankruptcy in March 2023 resulted in a missed rights payment in June.

Bally Sports Arizona previously aired games for multiple Arizona teams, including the Diamondbacks, Suns, Coyotes, and Mercury. The Arizona Coyotes remained under their broadcast until October 4th. which Bally Sports Arizona ceased all operations later that month.

Following these events, Major League Baseball took over the broadcasting of Diamondbacks games for the remainder of the season, a practice that was anticipated to continue into this year.

Currently, the only other teams without a television deal, thus being streamed directly by MLB, are the San Diego Padres and Colorado Rockies.

For fans looking to stream Diamondbacks games without any blackout restrictions, they can visit DBACKS.TV for In-Market Packages or purchase directly through MLB.com.
