Bhesania’s dominance

In 22 games played, Bhesania is averaging 19.7 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.6 blocks per game. He is also doing this on ridiculous 54/41/81 shooting splits.

His ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball has been a treat to watch. Once the junior gets hot, it is a long day for whoever Boulder Creek faces.

He had several big games for the Jaguars but one stood out above all else. Bhesania put up 42 points while missing just three field goals against Sandra Day O’Connor last month.

Potiential run?

With the regular season now wrapped up, teams and players will shift their focus to playoff basketball.

The Jaguars (17-9) enter the Open State Championship bracket as the No. 8 seed. They will host the No. 25 seed Desert Vista Thunder (18-8) on Wednesday, Feb. 14 @ 7  p.m. MST.

After being knocked out in the first round of the bracket last season, Bhesania and the Jaguars will look to make a deep run against the state’s top teams.
