Nyeri’s season

In 23 regular-season games played, Ring Nyeri has shown nothing short of dominance on both sides of the ball.

The senior is averaging 20.2 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 3.2 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game. He is doing this on 50/33/72 shooting splits.

This has been Nyeri’s official breakout as he has been a force to be reckoned with all season long.

Liberty’s outlook

The Lions (15-11) will enter Open State Championship playoffs as the No. 31 seed.

Liberty will travel to face the No. 2 seed Notre Dame Prep Saints (22-4) on Wednesday, Feb. 14 @ 7 p.m. MST.

While it will take a lot for the Lions to pull off an upset here, Nyeri has the capability of changing the trajectory of the game both offensively and defensively.
