Liberty Lions senior power forward/center Ring Nyeri has been named the 6A Northwest Valley Region Offensive Player of the Year.

In 23 regular-season games played, Ring Nyeri has shown nothing short of dominance on both sides of the ball.
The senior is averaging 20.2 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 3.2 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game. He is doing this on 50/33/72 shooting splits.

Liberty’s outlook
The Lions (15-11) will enter Open State Championship playoffs as the No. 31 seed.

While it will take a lot for the Lions to pull off an upset here, Nyeri has the capability of changing the trajectory of the game both offensively and defensively.
