GLENDALE — A four-game skid, the trade of a former No. 4 overall pick and another underwhelming performance Sunday have many Arizona Cardinals fans saying it’s time for the club to play rookie quarterback Carson Beck.

The Cardinals have remained in the NFL conversation over the last few weeks, but not in the position they hoped to be. As Arizona continues to search for more cohesiveness, both on and off the field, many supporters no longer want to see the same thing every week — they want to see change.
Fans have pointed to the quarterback position, where 11-year veteran Jacoby Brissett has taken over as QB1 following Kyler Murray’s departure this offseason. While Week 1 provided some promise that Brissett could be the quarterback the Cardinals could lean on, the results that followed have proved otherwise.

Through five games, Brissett has thrown for 1,110 yards, nine touchdowns and five interceptions with a 66.3% completion rate. However, his inconsistency has been enough for Arizona fans to call for Beck to get some playing time and gain experience despite the team’s struggles.
That sentiment comes as other rookie quarterbacks have started getting opportunities on the field, including this year’s No. 1 overall pick, Fernando Mendoza. Cardinals supporters want to see something different after a turbulent start to the season, and giving Beck a chance could be one way for the team to begin making that change.
Give me the Carson Beck experience. Season is over.

The New Orleans Saints were starting Spencer Rattler, his play wasn’t bad, but he wasn’t a winner. They benched him and found their franchise QB in Tyler Shough.

Hey Cardinals, this is what you do with your rookie QB when you’re getting blown out
In case you were wondering on what to do with Carson Beck

While head coach Mike LaFleur hasn’t indicated that a complete change at quarterback is coming, he did indicate that discussions would take place Tuesday about moving Beck to the active roster from his emergency quarterback role.
Mike LaFleur said there’ll be a discussion around noon on Tuesday that’ll include the possibility of moving Carson Beck to the active roster from his emergency QB role.

Whether those discussions lead to Beck getting his first opportunity remains to be seen, but the calls for change among Cardinals fans are growing louder.

With Arizona searching for consistency and a way to turn its season around, giving the rookie a chance could an option to consider down the stretch.
